I am going to upgrade my filtration and would like to get some of you thoughts.

I have a 75 Gal right now but will be upgrading to a 125 gal.

5 - Pleco's ranging from 4" to 10" in length
2 - Pacu's one 8" and one 10"
2 - Red Devils one 6" and one 7"

The filtration on my 75 is
1 - Fluval 304
2 - Magnum 350's

I would like to down size to one but upgrade the filtration.

I was thinking about a Fluval FX5.

What are your thoughts.

Thanks

I got a FX5 one both of my 125s. one has got 2 peguin 350s and the other just the FX5. and I can say this huch the FX5 alone will still need a little help moving debris and poo around your tank. So If you want a FX5 I would throw in a koralia powerhead to get the extra water movement throughout the tank.

Why so much filtration for a 75?

Agreed. a power head will help move the poo.
