What brand canister filter would be best to filter a 110 gallon indoor pond? I am on a budget so I would like something rather cheap. The inhabitants will be 1 oscar, 1 gold jack dempsey, 5 convicts, 1 common pleco, and 1 mystus leucophasis. Also would I be able to fit 3-5 silver dollars in there? The pond is an oval shape and has a pretty large footprint. Thanks ahead.

I think you're going to be overstocked. The Oscar is going to need 55 gallons minimum just to dilute it's waste, the Jack Dempsey is going to need 30, the convicts 20 a piece, 50 for the pleco and that is assuming they convicts don't pair up and get territorial. For that pond I think you would be safe with the Oscar and the pleco and that's it. As for filtration you could get a marineland c-360 and a large sponge filter would probably be a cheap option but with that stock list no amount of filtration will get the job done.

I would look into doing the majority if your biological filtration with plants. Sponge filters would be fine until you save up a bit more money for additional stuff.
Dude don't do convicts, unless you want a pond full of convicts. These little monsters will breed like rabbits. Try search eBay for good filter pricings. Saw a fx-5 for 188+24 for shipping.
invest in a nice canister filter or multiple hang on the back power filters.
