fin damage

I just saw some fin damage on my convict. I dont how this could of happened the other fish dont bite him at all. Just a chase or a puff once in a while. How can I cure his fins?

it is no big deal! happens all th time you may think they dont bite but they most likely do!

just let them grow back! the only reason they wouldnt grow back would be because they keep biting them!

but i guess it could be tail rot or some other fungus!

I had the same problem and the fins looked good as new within a few weeks

Convicts are tough and a little roughed up finnage makes them look even tougher.

sure but the males look beutiful with those long fins passing their tails by sometimes an inch! ecspecially pink ones!

I think my male looks pretty bad ass with his tail fin choppy it adds to they long dorsal and anal fins.

Sounds like one of the other fish in your tank was sitting in an angry chair putting your Con down in a hole.

I think he might of had a throwdown with my salvini and lost because he's not aloud back into what used to be his cave.

fins grow back fine as long as theres not too much damage to the base of said fin
