fin nipping leporinus

i have this one awfully fin nipping leporinus, he lives in isolation for almost 6 months because i have tried twice introducing him into two separate community tanks and failed twice, do you guys have any suggestion on what fish to keep with him? something he wouldn't nip on to.

yes... most likely since they hide alot.... just provide a small cave that the leporinus can't fit in... nigers will work too but get huge

yeah, and i can't afford one as of now. they are pretty expensive here.
