Fin Rot question

I have an ebjd that has got a little fin rot. can i leave my polypterus endlicheri in the tank during the treatment or should i move the ebjd to qt? I know a water change and gravel vacuming will help but as far as medication is concerned which type of Maracyn should i use?

What are your water parameters? Did you check both of these? Do water changes first for a few days and see if condition improves before you try any meds.

thanks il try that. my water parameters were pretty good other than i hadnt had a water change in a while because i was away at college. Your link is very helpful. thanks again.
