I keep having problems with Fin Rot.
It started around the time I introduced an Arowana into my aquarium. It spread to my Rocket Gar and my Senegal Bichir but my Alligator Pleco got the worst of it. I'm not sure if it was the introduction of the Arowana or not because it's fins were perfectly even at the time, but I've never had this problem before.
That was a few weeks ago.
The Pleco is healed and fine now and I've given away the Arowana, but now my Albino Senegal has it, and it seems bad.
I put him into quarantine yesterday and today he has a red strip on one of his Pectoral fins along with the Fin Rot. The top of his head seems a little red too.
Should I be really worried? The Albino is quarantined in a 5 gallon tank. I've been using Melafix and some Freshwater Aquarium salt to help and I'm going to do some major water changes to the main tank tomorrow. Anything else I can do?
