Fin Rot???

Noticed one of my azuls having a tattered tail a few days ago. Looked at it again today and it seems to be getting progressively worse. Does this look like fin rot to you guys?

The temperature of the tank is around 87F and everytime i do a WC i add in the appropriate amount of aquarium salt.

If it is fin rot, how do i treat it?

When i first got my Guyana, my kelberi tore his fins up bad, and a seven day dose of Melafix, had him back in perfect condition...........

I use melafix works really well havn't used meds stress coat salt and melafix

It says on the bottle to keep adding 5 mL/10 Gallons every day, then do a 25% wc on the 7th day. should i be following this?

is he in there with aggressive fish? someone might be tearing up his fin. If it is finrot than just do melafix it worked on my goldfish in my pond.

He's in my QT tank with another azul of the same size. I haven't seen any aggression come from the other azul at all and they were wild caught, that's why i suspected fin rot.

I found melafix works best if dosaged following daily 50% water changes.
