Fin rot ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Quickest and easiest is aquarium salt, 2 tsp/gallon. The most important thing with fin rot is to get it before it reaches the base of the fin. If treated early enough, even if most of a fin is gone, it will grow back. Once the rot hits the flesh at the base of the fin, that fine is gone forever.

When i had fin rot i did water changes every 4 days of 90% of the water and it went away in 9 days, though salt would probably make it faster.
