final? 125g stock, comments?

i think i've got my final stock for my 125g.

1 true parrot*
1 heros appendiculatus
2 jurupari*
1 uaru or chocolate cichlid
1 cr. menezesi (maybe something different depending on what Ken from Fish Farms brings back)
1 flag tail*
2 plecos (royal* and gold nugget)

the only one im not sure about is the uaru or chocolate. what do you guys think. everything with a * next to it means i have it already(only have jurupari)

I would get only one pleco I find even dwarf species produce alot of waste, also try getting a cheap bristle nose they aren't that attractive but they do the best job on algae, the fish seem good I would go with a chocolate instead of the uaru seeing as they might get bullied.

I've always wondered about S. jurupari - some people insist that they should be kept as a group (e.g., 5-6), but the two I have now (don't know if they are a pair yet) are not actually getting along (the bigger one constantly picking on the smaller one).

Are they better off with a group? I don't necessarily want to breed them.

if you get Uaru you will need at least 2. when young they do not do well as a single.

i would either ditch the uaru/choc and add another Sev or jurupari

OR

ditch the Sev and add 2 Uaru.

thats weird. people say they're one of the most laid back eartheaters. mine is very chill and gets picked on by most everyone else.

im going to have to keep them in a 55g with my 4" dat. i had the flagtail in the tank with the bichir for a day and noticed it sucking on the slime coat so the two wont mix. plus they dont fit with my SA theme

My thought exactly. I'm planning to get one when my sevs grow some more.

My jurupari pair get picked on by all other fish in the tank....no doubt they are the wimpiest ....between the two of them tho, the bigger one bullies the smaller one, but it's not too serious. I'm thinking about getting 4 more when I move them in a couple of weeks, but these things do get big...

I'd go with the chocolate over the uaru...but I'd also try to increase the numbers on the jurupari. I wouldn't add the GT, but would go with a blue acara or Krobia sp. xingu orangespot if you want a type of acara
