All;

Ok, I've settled on the West 105 System for sealing my tank. From what i can see, it dries mainly clear. So, do I paint the wood with my color BEFORE I used the epoxy? Or, do i paint over the epoxy with a marine type paint? If I paint the wood first, can I use any type of paint since it will be sealed by the epoxy? I want to make the inside a very deep blue and make the outside of the tank a really glossy black.

Now I'm thinking myself outta this...I guess i don't paint it first so the epoxy bonds to the wood, not the paint. Right?

All epoxy will yellow over time. So if you paint before then you will end up with a yellow muting to what ever color you use before hand.
