Final feature stock - your advice please

I currently have a 46 gal (48x18x15) community tank with an external filter, housing:

10 x neons
6 x rummy nose
2 x guppies
4 x albino corys
1 x rainbow shark
1 x young angelfish

My plan is to re-home the 2 guppies and replace them with 2 better 'feature' fish, to complete the stocking.

Not sure what to buy though, was considering a pair of gouramis, cockatoo cichlids or maybe rams?

What do you guys recommend to complement my tank?

I would assume that the angelfish (or group of) should be your feature stock.

Yes I have one young angel which is a great feature in the tank.

Would love to get another pair of feature fish though, possibly gouramis or rams - and I'd like some advice on whether you think this would be compatible with the fish I already have ?

Rams or Gouramis would be good. When your Angelfish grows up it will make lunch out of any small fish such as Neons or Rummy nose though.

Yes I plan to rehome the neons by xmas.

So you think that rams or gouramis would live happily with the angel and shark no bother?

Yes, both should be fine with the angelfish and rainbow shark.

i think rams or angels would be a good feature fish

I would add that I find rainbow sharks too be too nippy to be tankmates for angels
