I finally decided what i wanted to stock in my 265 gal(being set up now)1-vieja argentea,1vieja synspilus,1-herichthys bocourti,1-pearsei,2-cichlasoma festae and a blue phantom pleco,(hope i spelled everything right)what do you guys think will it work or will it not,all comments appreciated good or bad, want to start looking for all of them while the tank is being set up(55 gallon set up for them till the tank is ready)

thanks i can separate if neccessary but thanks for the heads up.

here is a list of the fish i found so far will be ordering this week.synspilus3",cichla monooculus4",tenemis3"blackbelt cichlid 5",v regani 3" and h carpintis3",still looking for pearsei3-4" do you guys think that will work out or is there anything i should add or subtract.

How did you go from viega's to peacock bass? You will not want to keep them together when young and the Tem will eventually get way to big for your tank. Not sure it that is what you were planning or not. Is the tank 7ft?

yes the tank is 7ft (always wanted pbass)thanks for the heads up might have to reconsider the pbass,i am also concern about the black belt being it is the biggest i think it might be to aggressive

Cichla are very cool, but when young they have pretty special requirements so I would either do some young cichla and hold off on the CA's until the cichla are bigger or not do the peacocks at all. There's a lot of people that are cichla experts in that forum. You might want to check with them before ordering if you really want peacock bass. They can tell you everything you need to know and show you the ropes.

Good luck.

i am thinking about holding off on the pbass until i do alittle more research,i might just stick to the ca's right now since i have a little more experience with cichlids than anything else, but once again thanks for the advice, has anyone had any experience with black belt cichlids i heard the are really aggressive sometimes?

here is what i ordered so far should be here next week,2xblackbelts4-5",1xv.regani3",1xsynspilus 3",1xh.carpintis 3" so what you think, will be in a 55 gallon until the 265 is set up(building a stand this week)

am also looking for some black bar silver dollars if anybody knows where i can get some.
