So I'm setting up the 55 for tangs. Definite stock is as follows:
2x black calvus
2x white calvus
(Both will be purchased at 3" from the LFS)
3x julidochromis. Unknown species. Whatever the LFS has that I like, and gets about 3-5 inches.
3x multis. Again whatever the LFS has. 1 male and 2 females
I also have a real fondness for mouthbrooders, which none of these are. Could I add a group of cyprichromis leptosoma? 1 male to 4 females?
Tank will be set up with lots of rock formations and caves on the right, along with some caves I'm building into a DIY background, and on the left will be a shell field for the multis. The tank will be running an emperor 400 along with a penguin 350. Water changes will be weekly at 50 percent, unless you guys recommend more.
If this is okay so far, could I add a few more shell dwellers? If so, how many?
