Final tank size/width for Bluegill

How wide should the final tank be for an adult female Bluegill?

Is it 2 times the length of the fish? Or three? Or more?

Assuming she ends up 8-10", would a 24" wide tank be enough?

The most you can get....., the minimum being a little more than the max length of the Bluegill (unless its a growout tank), but for the tank to be comfortable at least 2x the length is what I was told. Certain strains of Bluegill with the right climate and diet can get to 14 inches length. What are your other dimensions on the 24in. wide?

Length will probably be 5 feet. Or more. I don't know about height...
