So for the last several months I had been trying to breed my psychopathic Magma to this koky KK female. She layed for him 5 times but anytime I pulled the divider and let them come together they fought. So I have had this other super red kamfa female in another tank just waiting in case I couldn't get the Magma and the KK to "play nice" and breed. Well as soon as I took the KK out and put in this female the Magma mellowed out and became calm. I let them observe each other through the divider for three weeks and her tube dropped. I pulled the divider on Friday and they have been together peacefully now for 3 days. Im very excited to see them digging, swimming together, and being at peace. It has been a while since I have had a peaceful couple in the flowerhorn realm so this is very refreshing. All thoughts and comments are welcome.
