So on my 4 day vaction, I made it my mission that on top of making my wedding official "Got officially married 12-31-09" I was going to visit more pet shops.

So the wife and I went to a couple shops she looked at puppies, and I looked at fish. I went to pet land in Olatha, to my surprise not only did they have a nice store, but they had better stock.

I scored a 1" EBJD for 19.99 I saw a flower horn there I wanted but he was to big for my tank mates. I also picked up a Texas cichlid. They had Aro's and a nice selection of pikes. Only sad thing I saw was two 12" and one 10" Oscars stuck in a 90G bow front.
 
Congrats on the nuptials. Do you happen to remember what kind of pikes they had?
 
I don't remember what kind pikes they had. The one in overland park I think had a couple more pikes. I think its like one 151st and 69 hwy, but both stores had better selection then I have seen anywhere in kc. I have never been to brothers pets I hear they have some good stock sometimes.

Honestly the Pet Land here is about the only LFS I deal with. They are a little pricier but their fish quality is better and they are the only store willing to attempt at special ordering fish for me.
 
Congrats on the wife and the new fish.
For the love of all that is fluffy, don't let her buy a puppy from the thrice-damned pet store!
