Finally can see my datnoid

I can finally see my datnoid For the first month that I had him, all he did was hide. Right now he is swimming around the tank, messing with my chromide cichlid, and is GOLD. When he was hiding, he was dark tan but now he looks awesome. Sometimes he eats my catfish's pellets, but I think most of his diet is guppies and molly fry from the one time my molly was pregnant. I am so happy that I can see him now. I have heard they are very shy and I know it took my silver scat a month to come out of hiding from behind my filter tube. Now he barely fits back there! I can't wait until my dat gets a little bigger. Anyone got dat pics that they want to share?

HOw big is he? Wide bar or thin bar. Cuz i have a 8in thin bar that never comes out and ive had him for a month at least.

good stuff. I was pretty lucky when i got my dat. As soon as i put him in the tank he was swimming about. Took me bloody ages tho to get him to accept non live foods. post some pics of your beauty

Nice!...If you have a thinbar, they seem to love to hide unless there are more dats in the tank with it. Widebars and NGT are a little more bold.
