so ive been searching to order online as a wet pet well i was thinking of a flowerhorn since i love there color but in the end i ended up getting a midas cichlid from jeff rapps ill be posting updates and pics of him soon i was told it was a pure midas cichlid and i do see a diffrence from the red devils at petsmart it has a much shorter snout ill post pics asoon as i take them:D

yea he already bit me when i tried venting him not sure but i think its male he loves to eat! gonna be going to get him some blood worms 2morrow and hikari since im out...know if grand sumo would make his nuchal hump grow like it does for FH? i have some but dont wanna feed him more than twice a week with that stuff

Nice vid as for the growing of the hump I'm a believer of it being mostly genetic. But feed him the best quality food and wide variety and it'll give him the best chance for potential. You should YouTube 'Midas fishing in Florida' if you haven't already. Those things are beasts!
