Looks great to me. I went with jet black marble tile from home depot. Had them professionally cut at a local tile shop. Gave the guy $10 and he cut the 7 pieces that i needed cut. When i finished i immediately saw the fish colors get brighter. There is little to no room for crud to get underneath. Also getting a couple of high flow powerheads to keep anything from settling on the bottom. Tank is in my livingroom and we have a few skylights so when i attempt to take a full tank pic all I see is my reflection. Will post pics later on tonight

nice, let easy tank maintenance commence... as much fun as it is to watch fish dig i cant go sand again myself. i have slate btw.

Your tank looks great. Not to get off the topic, but I thought fish got brighter with light color substrate. I might be mistaken. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I correct you fibbing:p most fish seem to ger their natural coloration, even more with light substrate. But offcourse a fish can seem brighter with dark floors, naturally. Same as with rooms, the rooms get way brighter with white floors compared to dark. Looks ok, im more into natural tho:)

Nice work. I got my tank tile in a few months ago.
