Awsome job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!curios about concrete backing does't that put extra pressure on seals on thesides of the tank

There should not be any pressure to the sides of the tank since the background stops about 1/4 inch away from each side panel. I just taped the back of the tank with black tape so it looks like it goes all the way. Also the background is thicker on the bottom then it is on top so most of the weight gets distributed to the bottom pane of the tank and the stand

AWESOME!!! I love it!!!

I gotta say I am really impressed, and I admire your patience to be able to do 10-20 hours of sanding.

Good work.

P.S. : How much would you say it cost to do these projects?

Stand & Canopy look Awesome , I should do a Canopy for my 120.

The styrofoam / concrete background looks sweet as well. How much space does that take up inside though?

I've read that article on the background before, and have been considering doing it. Its good to see other people have done it sucsessfully. Great Job. Nice Stand and canopy combo as well.

Making a canopy is really easy and IMO any tank looks better with a canopy. The background is 2 inches at the low points and up to 4 at the high points. I used 1" thick styro as the main plate but you could use 1/2" as well and not so much concrete.

I never sanded for more then 1 hour a day or sanding session. So it was not to bad.
