Hi,
Saw your gar in another post.Love your tank, esp. the the big tree!!
Just got a spotted gar 2 weeks ago.
He eats out of my hand allready! (Pics in my gar handfeeding post.)
Very strange fish, but with real personality.
Check out Aquatic predators for some nice and usefull info,(if you hadn't allready!)

thanks noddy. yea i got mine on wednesday. i need to get alot more plants. the light that was on is not the real light....the real light is only on in the day time this is the "evening" light...they wake up to morning sunlight though being next to a window.

i am going to overstock the hell out of it and dump in alot of plants/filters/water change since i got rid of everything except this tank and my dog lol.

noooooo don't over stock!! tank looks great the way it is! just a few more gar and you'd be set. lose the cichlids too. very nice tankscape mate.

it's not sending him away bro. the site has tonnes of gar info in its archives which is unavailable anywhere else. what's wrong with that:cool:
 
Yeah, Monsterfishkeepers is my thing totally, but comparison of info between sites is my way of double-checking if any info is correct.
Before I make a commitment to keep a fish for life I NEED TO KNOW!!!
And I seem to meet a lot af the same folks, ain't that strange...?
