i went to the lfs today to check out there SA order and i saw a new set up with PERU LUNGFISH...i got the last 2 they were $19.99 each...they ordered them cause i have been asking them to order them for the last year or better...they are 3-4" and awsome!! :headbang2:headbang2
 
i just got back from doing some shopping with my wife...got a feeling to look in the tank...found the larger of the 2 hanging out in the floating plants i added...and i started looking for the other one...i saw it was like "oh it is hanging out with the 3-4" endli i have groing out in that tank"...looked closer then "holy **** that c-sucken endli has the lungs head in its mouth!"...so i grabbed the endli and after some convincing by dipping it in and out of the water it let go...since it was in my hand i put it in a diff tank...then i looked at the lung...it seems to be ok...not as active as it was, but it will swim around and it looks like a little slime is hanging on the face...when i put them in i was like " ummm...that endli looks like it could eat one if it wanted"...i gotta start listening to the inner voice i have as this isn't the first time i have had that feeling come true...
 
here are the best pics i can get for now...don't want to freak them out to much...the one in the plants is the one that almost got eatten...

i was feeding some market shrimp to the dats in the tank and said what the hell they are right at the top...i took a small chunk of shimp(bit size for them) and had it on my finger, i placed infront of their noses...they sniffed it and looked at it for a few seconds then ate it...they both did the same thing...less then 4hrs in the tank and after a near death they are eatting shrimp from my hands
 
wow they are small. i would be afraid to put them in a tank with a normal intake filter... let alone with other fish...
 
the tank has an emperor 400 for filtration...tankmates are 5x 2.5" IT dats, 1x gold nugget pleco and 1x 4-5" fire eel...i took out 1x 3-4" endli bichir as it tried to eat one, 1x 4" spotted rapheal cat, 1x 10" black ghost knife and 1x 4" jardini aro...
