So,for the past couple of weeks i've been trying to find a gulper for a fair price. It seems that around here in Ohio it's hard to find one for less the $400.But,believe it or not,I managed to come across one at a Petland. With no price,I go up to the kid working back in fish and ask,so how much for that guy?He thinks for a second, probably trying to think of a high price so he can rip me off,he's like uhh...$25 sound ok?So either nobody there knew what they had and it was a wholesaler mishap,or he didn't know and is now currently unemployed..Either way,my gulper is alive and happy. And $25 bucks for a 6" Asterophysus Batrachus is a pretty amazing thing:headbang2

Awesome deal! I got a 4" Frontosa that way... all the 1-1.5" fronts in the area were going for $20 and I got a 4" for $7 cause the girl working thought it was a mbuna :D
Works for me! Gotta love them knowledgeable employees!

Poor kid. He might lose his job if the owner knows exactly how much the fish costs.

All that much more important that they properly train their employees and ensure that all fish are correctly labeled and priced properly on the display :D

 nice deal!! I'll give you $50 for it :D
LOL...I suppose it is lesson learned for the LFS owner for not labeling the fish properly. He can't blame the kid though for what had happened. Serves him right for not labeling the fish and put the tag.
