Finally found me a male RTM

Well I have been looking for a beautiful F1 male RTM to hook up with my F1 females, and I finally found one. He is definitely a looker. Just under 10".

Nice, one of the larger female RTM I have seen on here.

My females I picked up a year ago. A local breeder hand picked a male and female and spawned them last Summer. The male came into the LFS on Saturday and told the store owner that the parents are from a well known breeder in CA. He came up here for work and wasn't able to bring his large tanks, and this male RTM and a breeding pair of Cubans, got to big for what he had. So unfortunately for him, his loss is my gain. Thats about all I know. I can find out by making a few phone calls.

So far not much interest or hatred. The 2 large females actually have their tubes dropped a bit. Maybe there is some secret flirting going on.
