I've had my Cren. Red Tabajos in a 125 with my Pssitacus and Urau Fernandez for a few months now and all seems to be going well. Its a female and i really want to add a male. Is this asking for trouble or should i just stick with the female and forget about trying to add a male? She's gorgeous and is pushing about 9 inches.

Sorry but i didn't get that at all. Anyway I think i'm just going to keep things as is with just the 1 Red Tabajos. She seems happy so why go mess with it.

For what it's worth, my pair of tapajos reds( approx 8"SL) got a long great in a 30 gal long tank. It was supposed to a for a few days and they got along so well, I left them alone. I finally got around to moving them to a larger tank ( 175 gal bow front) and now the male chases the female. So I guess you never know ;) .

Hey Taz ~ What size are your Cr. semi's? We had our 8"+ female in a 150 tank with a
10"+ red tapajos male. They were OK for a while, each kept to their end of the tank - except at feedin time. Had to take out the semi (she was just too feisty), is currently in a tank by herself. Definately the most aggessive Pike we have.
