Finally got a male Dovii

I just received my first male F1 Nicaraguan Dovii from Jeff Rapps. I was like a kid on Christmas morning:naughty:. He is around 3.5 inches and has beautiful blue in his fins. I have him in a 55 gal with two small Plecos. I named him "Cannabol". What would be a good feeding program to start him out with? So far I am just giving him Cichlid pellets. Whats the best food for Dovii that small, and how often should I feed him?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I got my Rapps female dovii yesterday!!! Probably a relative to yours!

i'd probably feed it krill, mysis shrimp, sinking NLS, blood worms and something with some veg.
he looks so colourful in the bag.
 
Congrats Flexxx! He's a nice one! My pair really like the Hikari floating food sticks and I also feed raw market shrimp a couple of times a week. I only feed once a day. Look forward to seeing more of this guy as he grows.:)Mike

i've got my shemale and 2 others growing out at the moment. hopefully i get at least 1 male out of the 3

i feed mine blood worms, cichlid gold mini pellets and SMALL bits of fish flesh.

I like Hikari Sinking Carnivore (essentially same as Hikari Massivore). You can break the pellets in half if they seem too big. My dovii and grammodes luv it.
 
2nd to the last pic looks like its showing alot of his colors really well! He looks great! I also like that you posted the pix of arrival to opening! Good to see how a packaged fish shows up!
