Well Last night I was cleaning out my turtles enclosure and had just gone done, I was bringing it back upstairs(itsa rubbermaid by the way, so I can carry it) and I swung around the corner to fast and hit a corner of it on my bed post a stabbed a hole right through it. So I put the RES in a temp rubbermaid 20litre and rushed off to Wally World. Being christmas time they had alot of different sized rubbermaids, and in the back of all of them, I find a MONSTER rubbermaid.

It's just perfect for my male RES whho is 5 1/2'' from front to back of carapace and 5'' straight across top of carapace. For basking area I have two cinderblocks with a foot long 8 inch wide cinderblock peice stacked on top of them, kind of like a bridge with his basking light above it. Since all of my fish but two plecos died after the 6 day power outage we had I took one of the striplights I had left over from my 29G and put it at the other end up the tank it's a really good light and will work well for the floating plants I plan to put in soon. I have a small aquarium heater from his old enclosure that is working well but I need to get a larger heatr to heat the larger area of water.
No pics right now, but I'll take some soon, it looks really good though and wil look even better with some floating elodea in there. I was thinking of adding a bushynose plec to help with some of the uneaten food and whatnot but I'm not sure if my turtle would harm it. Yesterday I fed him two leftover feeder whiteclouds and he ate them both within 4 minutes. He used to never eat fish but I guess he's changed now. So I'm worried of him trying to take a bite out of the plec if I did add one. I might just add some more whiteclouds, maybe some larger tetras that arent pricey to add some more movement and provide a little bit of cleanup and some food if my turtle feels the need to munch on them.
I'll take some pics tonight if I can, probably will havbe some tommorow though if I'm not too busy.
