As it turns out looking through the ID guides you guys have, looks like an Indo Dat. Close enough to the Siamese Tiger to make me happy.
I had a silver over 10 years ago in a brackish community, but I never could find a "yellow". Now it had been a long time since I'd seen any Dats for sale. Finally decided to try a couple "famous" shops downtown reported to have hard to find fish. Sure enough one had a few widebars at the paltry price of $125 each. I passed. Upon inquiry down the street the owner showed me his last dat, a pitch black little guy behind a filter in a tank full of Discus. $30 ??? SOLD. His colors calmed down quickly in his new home. No problem with the severums, but Daddy Convict decided to be a butthead. $30 hard to find Dat versus $2 breeds like mice fish. bye bye Daddy.

Congrats but widebars at $125 that is a little more then 1/3 of their current going price!THAT IS CHEAP!!!!! GET THEM NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!

Agreed...I would scoop that up before anyone else does. :D

Very nice IT. How big is this guy? It looks like those severums are a good size...looks like you got a pretty good deal on that indo.

If the ST are really that cheap, you can easily make that money back twofold if you're willing to ship.

That's a nice IT. too bad the right side isn't like the left side.

The IT is pushing 4". The Sevs are pushing 6" , so all have some growing to do.
(The female convict in the pic is tiny. She's the prettiest, smallest, and meanest little female convict I've ever seen. Any feeders I put in she kills before anybody else gets to eat them. If I can ever catch her she's coming out)
I don't really mind the mismatched sides on the IT, gives character, and I'm just glad to have one.
With widebars being that spendy I may have to look at picking one up. The Wife balked at $50 Discus (hence we got Severums). $125 for any fish is alot in our house.

mine's like that, too, i just like things to be more symmetrical since I'm semi-anal, LOL

LOL
I know exactly what you mean!

Lol, my parents balk at even a $20 fish. "It's just gonna die, what good is it?" Is what they say, lol.
