As it turns out looking through the ID guides you guys have, looks like an Indo Dat. Close enough to the Siamese Tiger to make me happy.
I had a silver over 10 years ago in a brackish community, but I never could find a "yellow". Now it had been a long time since I'd seen any Dats for sale. Finally decided to try a couple "famous" shops downtown reported to have hard to find fish. Sure enough one had a few widebars at the paltry price of $125 each. I passed. Upon inquiry down the street the owner showed me his last dat, a pitch black little guy behind a filter in a tank full of Discus. $30 ??? SOLD. His colors calmed down quickly in his new home. No problem with the severums, but Daddy Convict decided to be a butthead. $30 hard to find Dat versus $2 breeds like mice fish. bye bye Daddy.
