We finally went and picked up our new pike! He is about 6" long and very thick. I am not sure on the spieces but I'm thinkin sveni (because that is wat peanut said it prolly is). These are the only pics I could get because he wasnt coming out.

Oh yea and he does have an eye spot I know that sometimes matters. Thanks guys

Ok before I give you these pictures I have to vent a little bit. I went and got my new pike today and everything was doing fine and I had all my tanks just the way I wanted them. Well I did my water changes and everything and I went back a while later to find out my ten gallon with my natives was leaking. So I had to clear that tank out very quickly and put them in my 29 gallon that my port acara was in. Well the tank was tropical so I had to change almost all that water and I had to put my acara in my 55 which is now overstocked. It has a 6" pike, 8" severum, and now a 4" acara. WOW this has been a heck of a night. And on top of all that I have exams tomarrow. That felt good. So now on to the pike I got some decent body pics but he wouldn't come out from behind a piece of driftwood so there is like pictures of his front half then his back half. Thanks alot guys.

Looks pretty much like a male sveni man!! Awesome!! Watch the acara though, might get the brunt of the aggression. Or just go to wally world and get a 10gal for $10.00...quick fix!
 
Yea he got on him as soon as he got into the tank but then they settled down. Thanks for the ID. I think Im gunna get rid of the acara anyways so it won't be a big deal. Oh yea and this isn't a normal acara he can hold his own. It is a peruvian port acara which is wild caught and a scrapper. Thanks
