finally got me a silver arowana

after years of leaving the fish keeping hobby. i came back to raise peacock bass, but told myself i cant have a tank without one of my favorite fish after owning a couple

i love them mine died at about a foot though i dont know why. if you feed them frozen krill it makes different colors come out in theyre fins and scales mine was a silver aro that had gold tips on most of its scales and the scales had a slight green hue to them and the outer edges of his fins turned red a little bit

thanks. he is pellet trained already. the LFS never fed them feeders and just fed them pellets. it is currently eating what my pbass is eating. Cichlid bio gold Plus

his diet contains a mix of FD krills and pellets. im going to buy new feeder fish before i feed them live.

just watch out of ich.. feeders arent too great of meal for arowana.. its fun to watch.. but its not so great in terms of healthy food source..

I'd do raw market shrimp/meat stripes
