Ive been outa the MFK world for a few months, but i haven't been sitting idle by far..with the new job came odd hours and loooooong days with tons of other random issues popping up daily, BUT i still managed time to piece together my long awaited planted tank project. Hope you enjoy...

So after much debating:screwy:, and even more impatient waiting:ROFL:, Ive finally got things on the move. I started with a tank i got from family members, painted the back, chose the filtration, and substrate along with the lighting. I dont have all the pictures i would want to have, but as i progress i will be posting more.. so heres what i have so far:

36 Gallon Bow front
marineland 200 biowheel
Flourish black substrate for my plants
aqua sun's dual t5 hood with maxx plant grow and a daylight bulb
300watt heater (my room stays VERY cold)
Plants were ordered yesterday (6-9-11) and arrive this coming Wednesday

Stocking list includes 5-8 peacock gudgeon's, a breeder pair of bristle nose form my 55gal, and either some rams or a big school of cardinal tetras from snookn21..still haven't decided and could use some input on the decision, or any other ideas..:nilly:

as you can see here, i already taped off the sides and started the painting.

This was just following the plants going in, as you can see its still a little dirty from the silt being kicked up.

Here is the tank after the silt layer has settled and its starting to clear up really nice.

the large clump of java moss i got goes great wrapped around my pleco log..cant wait to get my bristle nose pair in there, planning to breed my Black male and albino female.

Here you can make out the co2 diffuser in the back ground.

So.. as of now, the tank is fully set up. Im simply waiting for the system to settle after everything i did with it today. I cant wait to get my fish in there, they arrive tomorrow!
