Finally got my aro

hey all i finally got my aro i have wanted one for a long time. hope that this guy grows huge.IM keeping him in my 55 for a while want him to grow some he is aprox 4-5 inches now before i put him in the 220.. any advice to get him big beautiful

they grow fast like 2 inches a month.....feed the aro a lot of frozen krill and beef heart

I suggest you put him straight to the 220G ASAP. These babies grow like weed, about 2-3 inches per month at the juvenile stage. Best is to feed him with shrimp with the shell. It will definitely help with the coloration. Frogs to help him grow broader.

no silver aro can reach 6ft long

a 5ft aro is very rare, due to genetics

most aros maximum length is 4 ft in length

Congrats on your new fish! If you want it to grow fast then PowerFeed that mofo! I heard that if you feed it 3 times a day and fast them once every three days then they will grow. You should feed it quality foods and color enhancers. NO FEEDERS!!
