If some of you remember me from when I was starting up my Cichlid tank I finally got it running! It may looked over stocked at the moment but this a grow out tank for most of them.

***THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THE FISH JUSTICE, THEIR COLORS AND PATTERNS AMAZING
Some of the pictures has green water.. which is due to my terrible camera..
I'm so used to taking pictures of still and slow Bichirs but Cichlids are a new challenge...

LIVE STOCK:
x2 Yellow Labs
x2 German Blue Ram
x1 Black Convict
x2 Spotted Cats

Thanks for viewing!

Um... do I see rams, some kind of african cichlid, and convicts?

I don't mean to burst your bubble or anything, because your tank looks nice and all... but your sitting on a time bomb. Your rams are not likely to survive in the long run, as convicts are surprisingly aggressive for their size. They can often live and defend themselves from fish much larger than them. Also, I cannot tell how many you have in there by those pics, but if you end up with a breeding pair, your REALLY gonna have trouble.

And that african cichlid... I don't know much about it, but I think it could also be trouble. People do mix africans with SA/CAs sometimes... but I think your tank is asking for trouble. Anyway... just my two cents. If I were you, I would decide if I wanted rams or cons, and lose the african, but what size is your tank?

the set up is nice.....get rid of the yellow labs.....they are african cichlids and need other water parameter from the ca/sa cichlids

Nice, but yeah to what everybody else said. Africans usually like water with a higher PH whereas South/Central American Cichlids like more neutral water.

Not to mention the temper of the Labs will outweigh those of the other cichlids leaving you eventually with only labs in there.

Heck, even the convict could start terrorizing the Rams. Good luck buddy.
