finally got my fire eel to eat something other then earthworms

i have literally tried everything and owned it since may. i was going to give it back just because it wouldnt eat anything but earthworms which 1) is annoying to dig up 2) screwed in the winter.


today it ate a bunch of crawfish tails....so that means it more then likely will take shrimp now as opposed to before..

yeah mine will also only eat earthworms (nightcrawlers) or live river / brine shrimp...
bit of a pain really, but you can buy earthworms at most fishing tackle shops
Its pretty cheap too and they come in pots you can store in the fridge so that they stay alive

mine eats frozen brine shrimp, they are pretty cheap at petsmart
