they are awesome fish for sure. i cant wait for him to get some size though he is a little on the skinny side. what do you feed yours?
i used to feed mine hikari sticks, small pieces of steak and shrimp
mine grew a inch a month. now they are 16" and 18"
try to hand feed them all the time and once they get a big bigger, pet them alot, they love it

i will hand feed ,appreciate the advice. he is still a little skittish right now but seems to be settling in
