It is a 178g Oceanic. (60.5WX24.5DX29.5T) My son made the stand (he fabricates stone and corian countertops and builds cabinets for a living). He is in the process of making a canopy. Pressurized CO2 injection, 6X85W THO5 Lights, 6 lunar lights. I'm pretty excited about it because I sold my other 9 aquarium set ups to have this One Big Tank. The plants look a bit sad right now because the spent the last 9 weeks in a 40 gallon breeder tank with insufficient lighting and 6 bristlenose, 45 cardinals, 1000 Red Cherry shrimp, and 6 Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish. I had to make water cahnges 2 to 3 times a week for the crowd. I have already moved the Cards and Bows but will not move the BN until the plants are well established. I recently purchased a Black Ghost Knife that is around 7 or 8 inches right now, and have 8 German Blue Rams in a borrowed tank that will go in as well. It will ultimately be a Discus tank.
The water is still a bit cloudy. I used aquariumplants.com substrate and 2 show pieces of malaysian driftwood. I'll post updated pictures as it fills in. (Pleas ignore the wallpaper behind the tank...my computer room where the tank is located used to be a spare bedroom and that was my makeshift headboard...LOL)
Enjoy the pics and thanks for looking!!
Sue

Thats awesome. Can't wait for it to clear up and the plants to fill in a bit.

Any particular discus you're going to stock?

Thanks so much for your comments. You betcha I know what is going in there!! :headbang2 I sold my breeding group of High Body Checkerboard Turks to a very good friend. I got the fish from Dan at Gulf Coast Discus in Houston. He imported them from Malaysia. They spawned yesterday and I am getting a batch of them. They are the best looking Turqs I've ever seen. I so regret selling them...but this will be just as good. My friend is so sweet, he is giving me as many as I want.

The last two pictures are of the group when I had them. He just got them in July.

Discus, Black Ghost Knife, German Blue Rams, Cardinals, Dwarf neon Rainbowfish, Bristlenose, and around 1000 Red Cherry Shrimp. Mr. Ghost likes to chase and eat the shrimp...but he likes blood worms, mysis, and brine shrimp even more, so I keep him full of frozen foods and sinking carnivore pellets.
