Finally got my thermostat! (Vivarium Electronics)

FedEx sucks!!

I finally got my RBI order today: Vivarium Electronics VE-200, four 2' strips of 11" flexwatt, and aluminum tape.

The paper board is curing to the plastic rack over night and I'll be cutting the legs on the shelves tomorrow to fit the 60qt tubs I'll be using.

Here is the thermostat, anybody using these?

Okay, so 'pulse proportional' sounds like a fancy way of saying 'on-off', because it basically just shortens the intervals that an on-off thermostat would turn on the electrical flow to the heat tape.

I'm glad I went with a flat bottom sterilite because the gradient between temps on the flexwatt and inside the tub is very minimal, only off by a degree last night.
