OK, so I finally got some cool fish in my 4000 gallon indoor pond. Been dealing with a rising PH level since I got it setup in June...

My channel cats have more than doubled in size since then, but I did lose a few (only a couple died, the rest were eaten by the other bigger cats!).

Out of the 10 cats I started with I have 5 left (4 albino and one gray).

Monday I got a pair of Jack Dempseys and an Oscar. Problem is you can hardly see them at all. The dark brown tile of the pond makes them very hard to see. Going to get a few more Oscars, but get albinos. The O I have is about 6" long and the JDs about 4". My cats are 6"-12" now.

Getting an albino O today that is about 12". What else should I get? I would like 4 or so more albino Oscars, but that may take a while to find them big enough where they will not get picked on/killed. I figure 6" is about the smallest I would want to get. The other option is to start a grow out tank in my basement and get smaller, cheaper fish and grow them out to size for the pond.

I will take some updated pics tomorrow and post them.
