Getting rid of my 120 (48x24x24). So I’m breaking it down to throw on the back porch and up for sale.

Wouldn’t ya know it, started leaking right then and there with about 4 inches of water left in it and all the gravel (150lbs) out.

Super bonus for not selling it to someone to leak in their house, or leak in my own.

Was also my first go at a stand and canopy. One door warped outwards after putting about a gallon of Polyurethane on the stand.

Your a great person to care because that's a rarity these days.
Part of why I’m never short on business as an owner operator. I own up to any, and everything. Just have to decide to take the hit, or put all the elbow grease into resealing it. All that razor scraping, acetone scrub, tape…ugh. Such a nightmare.

The stand and canopy that originally came with this tank, used obviously, had a hidden surprise. Dry wood termites. Guy that I got it from, didn’t own that.

That's awesome. I didn't go trade school but challenged myself on DIY projects. I built a 2 seat sound proof room in my basement was so proud of myself.
Don’t worry about that. I didn’t either. I just bounced from trade to trade entry level. Started at 15 with low volt electrical, then high voltage. Then plumbing (including yard plumbing lol irrigation), framing, brick/block and foundation work. Wood floors, tile, drywall, roofing.

Never got into HVAC but, did my own and exceeded code 5 years ago. Stupid part about FL, maybe the nation, is that you have to be a licensed person to connect the refrigerant line. Extra $300 there. I still need to go back and run a new line to a new breaker so I can have a higher watt heater. Mine just doesn’t cut it to keep the house at 70 on our 34 degree nights.

And you should be proud. I’m sure it wasn’t easy, probably made mistakes you had to fix along the way.

Thanks for the kind words and yes mistakes were made. I train people on the machine I run at work. I always tell every person I train if the machine runs smoothly all the time you won't learn how to solve issues.
