okay, i think i have done the proper research and have come up with a good mix of fish, tell me what you think. the tank i am aiming for will be 8'x4'x4'. the fish i want to put in are a black arowana, a silver arowana, a red oscar, 2 albino tiger oscar, 3 peacock bass (ocellaris), a spotted gar, an orange pike cichlid (c. sp. xingu I), a giraffe catfish, and a tiger-striped catfish (tigrinum). i figure i could put them all in at the same time, but at different sizes, maybe the arowanas at 6-7", oscars at about 3", peacock bass at about 3", gar at 6-7", pike at 3-4", and the catfish at 6-7". i think this should compensate for the difference in growth rate, any better suggestions on adding at the same time are appreciated.
