so here are some picture of my bichirs and their tank. i couldn't get any good pictures of them but i tried my best. there is also a lot of reflections because my tank has black sand and a black background. tell me what you guys think, good and bad. i painted the background black with paint i got from homedepot. i would like to give my thanks to Bichirs4life, thanks to him i was able to get the black sand for a good price. i have a total of 5 bichirs so far and am planning to get more. they are all around 4"-6"

3 endlicheri
1 ornate
1 unknown (i think it is a delhezi but not sure. if you guys can tell me what it is that will be great)picture #5

I really like the substrate, everything looks great m8

nice specimens, and your guessing is right, its a delhezi and a very good looking one aswell :)

Nice bichirs. :)

thanks for all your positive feed back and telling me what the unknown bichir was but i still have a little question. how come my delhezi looks different from all the pictures that i have seen? the ones that i have seen are like a white color with a few strips but mine doesn't look anything like that. he stills look cool though

The color depends on genes and enviroment, here is my delhezi(2)(hope you dont mind):

those are some good looking fish Hao and thanks for showing me your fish so that i know mine is a delhezi too:). hope mine will look good like that one day.

Delhezi's pattern won't grow more. ;) So its better to find a small one with great looking pattern that you like or big sized. :naughty: No problem :D
