Finally he ate!!!

my mountian horned dragon hasnt eatin in a month. yesterday, i adopted a female mhd and to my surprise that same night he ate 2 nightcrawlers without hesitation. with the female now with him, he seems to be more active. maybe they'll breed and lay me some fertile egg.

What an odd way to get it to eat. I mean, if I had an animal not acting normal, last thing I'd do is put another animal in with it. Glad it worked out for you though.

In my experience one of the ways to make a new, inadapted, stressed ,etc herp, eat is to put him with non agressive menbers of its own species (of corse assuming they are compatible) It works with turtles ,tortoises,frogs ,baby iguanas and moutain horned dragons
