I have been trying now for almost 9 months to get my small fire eel off of bloodworms and onto nightcrawlers and 3 days ago he took a very small nightcrawler and one a little bigger yesterday and then a big one today. He has been big enough for awhile, he is 10" but has been stubborn and I couldn't stop the bloodworms because of the elephant nose but today he only went for the nightcrawler and left the bloodworms alone. I will never get another eel to small to eat worms it is a pain in the butt to get them off bloodworms

Keep adding more types of food, when they get going they explode, mine is powering through 27 inches now. I feed lob worms, dendrabeena worms, mussel, king prawns, normal prawns, fillets of salmon smelt, perch with the spines remove, roach and I am about to try tilapia.

I currently feed that tank bloodworms, mysis shrimp, tilapia, earthworms, and pellets. I would love to get all of the eels on tilapia it's so much cheaper
