I lived in Conecticut for a bunch of years and I never had any luck getting these guys.. I used to drive hundreds of miles looking for fish and always asked the LFS where ever I was and they either couldn't get them or didn't even know of what I was asking for.. So I moved to Puerto Rico and I'm saying to myself.. Now the chances of ever getting these babies are slim to none.. Guess I was wrong Lol! Not only I found them but I was able to get them direct from a whole seller here in PR. He claims they're wild caught ones but one never knows.. I'm just glad I finally got my dream fish..

Congrats! It's a good feeling when you finally track down what you've been searching long and hard for. Any pics? Festae are very beautiful and rough cichlids. One of my favorites too.

I lived in connecticut for years before moving to florida and you hit that one on the head.drive around from pet store to pet store only to see the same ole fish oscar,convict,jd.. and would ask do you have any dovii,managuense or freddies..they look at you funny.down here I can find everything.
