well something really baller happend today i went on CraigsList for a look a nice tank or some cool fish but what i saw was awsome!! a seller had for sale and well i found a 540G MONSTER TANK 6ftx4ftx3ft for 370$ with canister (not specified) black sand substrate some drift and canopy!!! only bad part is this is no stand but thats no prob ill find one. but omg for peacock bass that tank setup and measurements are just heavanly the tank was only used once for a arro comunity tank, that i was told. but im going to pick up this bada$$ deal this next thursday.

know my question is how will i transport my cichla what is a safe way??

im paranoid that my fish will die of a stress related disease should i still still use R/O there about 7in now.

I'd try to keep as much of the existing tank water as I could.
How are you filtering at the moment?? I don't think you should be using cannisters for this bad boy.. I'd put some of your cycled tank media into your new filter if your gonna get a new filter too.

Yes, you should just use the bags. IMO, they'd be fine if you just netted them too, as long as the temperature in the tanks are the same. And I wish I could find a deal like that around here.:nilly:

the new tank is going to be in your home? you can't just net the fish into a bucket and carry them to where the new tank is? if your peacock bass are only 7" long it shouldn't be a big deal unless your house is an hour walk from one end to the other. then i would suggest using an air stone and a battery operated air pump in the bucket while you're walking.

lol nah its in my garage along with all my other fish. cause i think 540g is too much water pressure for a woodfloor wouldnt it crack the floor?

depends on how old your house is.
