Fish room most of the time.
This is the 5th time they spawn, the 1st 2 spawn the beta male ate all the fries. 3rd spawn was a success, then I moved all the fries to a 10 gallon, 2 of the 100s fries made it.
The 4th spawn, I moved all the fries into the 55 gallon with the 2 survivals of the 3rd spawn, the larger fry ate all the 4th spawn. Lack of time and space.

I finally moved the beta male into a 110G, and the 2 small fries into another 110G, keeping only the pair in a 55 and now, success!

I'm breeding the reds in a 55, cuz the 110s are separated to house other fishs, and the filters are to strong for the Reds to spawn and keep fries without being sucked into the filtration system.

My next breeding project will be the Festae.

I have 1 nice male @ 4" (F1) and 4 smalls @ 2" (F1) and 2 small @ 1" (F1) all from different sources. Hoping to have them breed a year from now. I may pickup a small female @ 3" if I can make room.

After the Festaes, I may venture into breeding Piranhas, be a good connection with my old friend, Arnold, aka "Hollywood" from Pfury.

Happy fish keeping/breeding.
