Are on Cichlid pellets, since i put my RTC/TSN and my Marbled Pim in my 125 gal tank they are eating everythig in sight!!!Especially Cichlid pellets, thier bellies are always fat!!!I cant believe that a tank change would have such a great effect on my smallest cats, but i love it!!!My 14 inch Lima still isnt interested in Pellets, since i got rid of my RTC and my Asian Upside down cat he hasnt eaten anything(hope he snaps out of it soon ).

congrats. when i had a rtc he only ate pellets thank god lol

all of my catfish eat pellets for the most part, but it's just a supplement, as it would cost me about $100 per week in pellets to feed all of them. Much cheaper with shrimp, and hotdogs, supplemented with pellets, and fruits when possible.

Completly agree about the cost, it amazes me that people think that feeding pellets is cheaper than shrimp.... The Hotdog thing... not so sure how that will work out in the long term and I think I'll let you keep testing it out before I get up the nerve to try it myself. I give a nice varied diet to my guys and do it on a reasonable budget as i buy everything while it's on sale :D cause I'm CHEAP!!! (means I can afford more fish on the same budget )

I've never had a cat turn down a piece of shrimp cause it was freezer burnt ... so I'll keep up with my methods for the time being ;)
