Hey

It took me over 6 months of trying. No fasting nothing like that. Regular feeding of frozen krill home bred crayfish and A. Spixi snails. What I've noticed about this guy is he does not crush the shells when he eats the snails he just picks off the head/foot of the snails.

Here's a short clip I shot of it eating dry food. It actually really enjoys it. It eats any type I throw in.
My substrate is a bit messy so please forgive me.
I just got back from a trip and some floating plants melted away and the snails are making a mess of it.

Thanks guys :)

I've had many puffers over the years and this one is by far the most amazing and my favorite.

This one actually a maniac. Puffing up at it's own reflection and trying to fight it lol

That's pretty cool. I know what you mean about now crushing things. My fahaka has learned to open clams without crushing them up, it's pretty annoying. Every time i try something new, she figures a way around it.

Thanks

It is annoying because now it causes us to worry about it's teeth. Good thing I have crayfish breeding like crazy. Never thought it was this easy to breed them.
