I found a really good deal on a 125 gallon fish tank this afternoon. I just got back from pick it up. Unfortunately it will be sitting in the Jeep the next few days until I can get some help bring it into the house. I am going to need help getting lights, heater and filtration system. I plan on building a stand this week. Here is my idea as far as a stand, let me know what you guys think. I'd use 4x4 for the frame of the stand. I'd then use 4 4x4's as supports. I'd then use angle brackets. I am not sure if plywood is needed or not for the top. I would like to get the tank up and running this weekend (not ready for fish yet).
I'd like this setup to be able to support a stingray, maybe two and then any fish ect that could live in the tank without causing harm to the stingray(s). What should I look into as far as a heat(s), filtration and lights? I need a hood for the tank too.
