Okay, after many discussions and problems regarding my 20 SW tank, I thought I'll post some pictures up. Not much in there still, I want to tank my time with the cycling process.

I plan to get some anenomes and clown fish to start off, well clown fish first anyway, after I get rid of the mono angels and the crabs. Then I will need some better lights so I can house some corals and anenomes. One step at a time....one step at a time.......

By the way, does it look like there's enough Live rock? And how's the arrangement? The left side has an openingso the fish can swim behind it, good hiding spot I guess. Was arranging it in hopes of getting a zebra dwarf lion, but I have plans to upgrade soon so I thought I'll save the money for a volitan instead.

dude, nice looking tank and fish but please scale down those pics lol ^^

Dude, please resize those pics!

The tanks looks nice, but you might want to get another type of fish. Those Monos get over 6" inches and can get pretty nasty.

Hello,
If I were you I would avoid anems until you get a lot of experience with s.w. Clowns are nice hardy fish and will be pretty easy for you to tend to. You need at least 1lb of live rock per gallon. Hope this helps you.
Happy new year
Max

yes nice Scats but pls try to resize, of was you trying to make a 20 gal look like a 3000 gal?

Here you go guys;) . BTW nice fish but they look a bit big...

Wow, now that I can see everything at once, I feel bad for those Monos (not Scats FishSkins lol :D) Please trade them in for a nanoreef fish like a firefish or blenny, Mono argentus get get 8 inches tall and long (like a big freshwater angel) and that 20 is too small for them. Not to mention they can be kinda mean if not in a big enough school like Tiger Barbs are.

Thanks Chad55 for resizing them! I would've done it myself but I don't have photoshop installed, so I couldn't optomise them. Man the images were like 1Mb each!

As for the Mono angels, i didn't know they get to 8 inches, man thats huge! I thought they only get to the size of a adult silver doller, not that I plan on keeping them long term anyway.

1 pound of live rock per gallen, I'll have to do some calculations and convert it to kg, but thanks for your advice!

Are anemones alot of trouble? I haven't read much on it yet, I did most of my (little) research on lionfish, clowns and snow flake eel. I have plans to upgrade, so clowns for the 20 and who knows what will be in the bigger one!

Okay I just worked out the conversion rates of lb to kgs.

1lb = 453.6grams
According to Max, I should have 1lb per gallon, therefore, for my 20G:
20lb = 9.1 Kg!

Right now, there's 3 kgs worth of LR in there, but it seems so full already, like the fish only gets about 2/3 the tank's worth of swimming space. If I add another 6 kilos, will that cramp my fish up too much? Can I like, add some small pieces of live rock into the cannister with the purigen and stuff as well? Will that be just as effective?

Depending on what Live Rock you get, it can look fuller with less rock. The denser rocks, obviosly, will let you reach the amount you need and still give you a lot of tank space.
